My Work”

Salman Khan made his much-anticipated return to The Great Indian Kapil Show as the season’s inaugural guest. Addressing recent rumors regarding his health, the actor looked in great shape but disclosed that he is still grappling with several serious medical issues.

In a chat with host Kapil Sharma, Salman candidly touched on the topic of marriage. He expressed concerns about accumulating wealth and the daunting financial implications of divorce. He worries about having to rebuild his life at his current age if a partner were to take half of his earnings.

“Hum ye jo daily ki haddiyan tudwa rahe hain, pasliyan toot gai, trigeminal neuralgia ke sath kaam kar rahe hain, aneurysm hai brain mein uske bawajood kaam kar rahe hain. AV malformation hai, uske bawajood chal rahe hain,” he articulated. This translates to, “I’m out here breaking my bones every day – ribs are fractured, working despite trigeminal neuralgia, dealing with a brain aneurysm, and still pushing through. I also have an AV malformation, yet I’m carrying on.”

He further elaborated, “All of this is going on in my life. Aur jahan unka mood satka, woh aadha humara leke chala gaya. Ye younger age mein hota toh theek tha, phirse kama lete. Ab wapis se…” In English, this means, “And the moment their mood soured, they will take away half of what I had. If this had happened when I was younger, it would’ve been fine – I could have earned it all back. But now, starting over again…”

Salman first opened up about his health in 2017 at a promotional event in Dubai for his film Tubelight, where he revealed his struggles with trigeminal neuralgia, a condition notorious for causing excruciating pain.

This disorder affects the trigeminal nerve, resulting in severe facial discomfort triggered by everyday activities such as brushing teeth or eating.

During the recent episode, he also mentioned that he has a brain aneurysm and an arteriovenous malformation (AVM). A brain aneurysm is a bulge in a weakened blood vessel that can have grave consequences, including a life-threatening stroke if it bursts.
